Chewy. (Denver, Colorado)

Wow, did it feel good to play again last night. It’s the strangest feeling to play every single night for weeks and then not play for a couple of days straight. I know, it’s redundant with my post below, but it bears repeating if only as a venting device. 🙂

We played a “get out the vote” event last night in Denver, at a place formerly known as “The Falcon,” now called “Moe’s.” It’s a pretty interesting room – part venue (with really good sound, lights, etc.), part BBQ restaurant (with classic southern style barbecue, tasty!), and part bowling alley. Yep. Crazy. As it was Halloween, everyone was dressed in costume and having a good time. We had a Chewbacca guy dancing in front of us all night, which was cracking us up. He even made it into a couple of songs via on-the-fly lyrical references. Setlist will be posted here shortly when I listen back to the recording. Sorry I’ve been lapsing on posting the setlists, I just don’t remember them at the end of the night, with so many shows lately.

We’ve got a show next Wednesday in Boulder, then a run of 3 nights in a row on the 13th, 14th, and 15th – and then the Road Journal will be on hiatus as we work on the new record.
